First and foremost, I'm going to come right out and admit I've never seen Marnie. Though I'm a huge Alfred Hitchcock and Sean Connery fan and I've owned the movie for years, I haven't watched it. After finding these great behind-the-scenes photos I think that's going to change this weekend. But that's the great thing about this column, you don't have to have seen the movies featured before you can appreciate the art of filmmaking and seeing it in aciton.
For example, I like to imagine that the first image is the moment Connery learned how to backhand a woman the proper way. And he was taught by Hitchcock. This is followed by Lesson #2: "How to Strangle a Broad". The last shot is of Sean and his co-star Tippi Hedren as he makes a less than James Bond pose for her camera.
